Born in Augusta, GA, Mason Dale Hargett joined our family in 2003. He immediately became the "focus" of the household and captured our attention and hearts. From the time that Mason arrived, we were convinced that any companion with so much love, devotion, and ability had to be shared with others. So, Hargett's Hounds was formed.
We are continual amazed by the great genetics that Mason passes to his offspring. From the remarkable tracking "nose", deep red color, long legs and long ears to the deep wrinkles, and dependable character. In addition to being a great "papa" with the pups, Mason is still man's (and woman's) best friend.
